Interceding for Dallas Fort Worth

Standing in the gap for our region

There is something sacred about the places we live.

Dallas–Fort Worth is more than a region—it is made up of people, families, churches, schools, and communities that God deeply cares about. And throughout Scripture, we see that when God desires to move in a place, He first calls His people to pray.

Intercession is that response.

It is the act of standing in the gap—lifting up our cities before God, asking Him to move, to heal, to restore, and to transform. It is not passive. It is not distant. It is intentional, persistent, and rooted in love.

When we intercede for Dallas–Fort Worth, we are partnering with God’s heart for this region.

Why Intercession Matters

Intercession shifts the atmosphere.

It invites the presence of God into places that need healing. It softens hearts, opens doors, and prepares the way for transformation. While we may not see everything happening in the moment, we trust that God is working as we pray.

Scripture calls us to seek the peace of the city—to pray for it, to care for it, and to believe that its well-being matters.

When the Church prays together, something begins to change.

A United Voice

There is power in unity.

Intercession is not meant to be carried alone. Across Dallas–Fort Worth, God is drawing believers together—across churches, backgrounds, and communities—to lift one voice in prayer.

Not for recognition.
Not for a platform.
But for His presence.

When the Body of Christ comes together in unity, prayer becomes more than individual moments—it becomes a movement.

What We Are Praying For

We are lifting up every part of this region:

  • Our cities and neighborhoods

  • Churches and leaders

  • Families and the next generation

  • Schools, workplaces, and communities

  • Moments that shape culture and direction

We are asking God to bring renewal where there is weariness, healing where there is brokenness, and hope where it feels lost.

The Invitation

Intercession is not reserved for a few—it is an invitation for all.

You don’t need a title.
You don’t need a platform.
You simply need a willing heart.

God is calling His people to stand in the gap for Dallas–Fort Worth. To pray with faith. To gather in unity. To believe that He is not finished with our cities.

And as we respond, we believe this:

What begins in prayer will lead to transformation.

Dallas–Fort Worth is worth praying for.

And as we continue to intercede together, we trust that God is moving—quietly, powerfully, and faithfully—across our region.
